Space Center Houston Houston-we have lift off. Famous words for a famous place.Feel like an astronaut for a day or a few hours at least as you explore the hands-on exhibits and behind-the- scenes tours at the Official Visitors Center for NASA's Johnson Space Center. Houston Visitors Center The Houston Visitors Center located in historical City Hall allows visitors to sample everything there is to see and do in the Greater Houston area. This grand Art Deco facility is the largest in the U.S. and features fascinating displays, interactive computer resources, a short Houston feature film in a 50-seat theater, plus a great selection of Space City souvenirs. Downtown Aquarium This facility is located fairly close to the George R. Brown Convention Center. This underwater-themed Downtown Aquarium complex features dining amongst several giant aquariums. Explore the shark tunnel tours, or enjoy a trip on the ferris wheel. Great spot for a family day out. Astroworld & Waterworld This is a wonderland of roller coasters, carnival games, live entertainment, plus an awesome waterpark - just across the street from Reliant Park. Need we say more? Moody Gardens Not at all like it's name Moody Gardens offer a real tranquility amongst a stunning Aquarium, Rainforest and Discovery Pyramids. Located on Galveston Island it offers eye-opening experiences with science and nature, including IMAX 3D and Ridefilm theaters. . |
